This listing is for 10 copies of an A5 Notebook. It has been lovingly designed and extensively tested with great feedback. It has a 300gsm glossy cover and 40 120gsm pages inside (enough for a school year). The paper weight was chosen so that felt tips won't show through to the other side of the page!
"These piano practice books will last for one year with plenty of space to write in and children love to see that they have achieved their goals. They are excellent value and the design of these books is superb. Very different from anything else. I am looking forward to seeing the teenager and adult books and I will be buying more." - Ceinwen Bran @ Piano4Solihull
"The Piano Goals Practice Notebooks arrived very promptly just before half term and I used them with 4 students, They loved the colourful design. There is a A5 page for each lesson where the practice goals can be documented and then reviewed in the following week and rewarded with a smiley face or maybe next time, (Easy for the teacher to take a snapshot for records too!) Great to have a repertoire list at the back which shows progression and achievement." -Julie Oldfield, piano teacher
"THE best piano practice notebooks - simple, easy and very very tactile!- Enjoy Piano sent me two to trial. They are so clear and easy to use. I gave my two copies to a 11 year old boy working towards an exam and a 13 year old girl as wanted to see what she thought of it as a teenager. We bypassed the stuff for younger children and just use the note pages and they both have responded well to the goals achieved/not achieved. I will use these books for children aged 6 upwards and look forward to seeing the next set for older children and adults" - 5 star Amazon review
After years of trying to get my students to actually open up their practice notebooks in between lessons, and not rely on their (somewhat selective) memories for what they needed to practice during the week, I sat down and had a thought.
What if I eliminated the word "practice" from my studio? That word seemed to switch children off and make parents fret. What if I treated students' areas to practice as small weekly goals to achieve instead? And what if it was stated outright at the front of the book that these little goals would help the student achieve their biggest, loftiest goal?
I have a background in graphic design, so I got to work designing something that would appeal to children age 5-12. I handed them out to students, who loved the little people on the front, and the element of the small goals, and the emoji-style faces on every page, and the repertoire lists. They loved it all, and I started to see massive results. My students were actually opening up their notebooks to see what their goals were each week. They were practicing hard without knowing it!
From one teacher to another, this promotion (buy 9 get 1 free) is NOT time sensitive - it'll run forever. Even as a small (tiny!) business, I want to be able to offer something that genuinely competes with other practice notebooks on the market, is professionally made, cleverly designed, and gets results.
